I stumbled upon this while looking up that quote. Any “God” who bleeds is not a God but a mortal. A mortal does not deserve worship, only praise. A true God is one who does not waste time with such petty things like blood because blood is a form of protecting the body. A God is invincible and therefore logically should not have to bleed.
